What Makes
Global Gratitude Different
More than volunteering — a fully facilitated wellbeing and learning journey.
The Difference
Unlike many volunteer programs, Global Gratitude is intentionally designed as a learning experience — not a one-off trip.
Every step, from pre-departure workshops to daily debriefs during immersion and structured reflection afterwards, is fully facilitated to support wellbeing, insight, and growth.
-
Daily activities are linked to clear learning outcomes
-
Guided debriefs capture insight and emotional learning
-
Reflection is embedded before, during, and after travel
Long-term village partnership, not one-off visits.
Reflection embedded before, during, and after travel.
Gratitude Reflection Book as evidence of learning.
Students return as leaders, not just travellers.

Teacher FAQ
This depends on your school’s individual policy. We typically recommend around 3 staff per group, ensuring appropriate supervision while keeping the experience manageable for your team.
The program is built around core wellbeing themes, including gratitude, perspective, connection, and personal growth. It provides students with a powerful, real-world context to reflect on their own lives and develop resilience and awareness.
We provide comprehensive documentation, including risk assessments, itineraries, consent frameworks, and pre-departure materials. Everything is designed to support school requirements and streamline approval processes.
Risk management is a central focus of the program. This includes detailed planning, vetted local partnerships, clear supervision structures, and ongoing on-ground coordination. We work closely with schools to ensure all requirements are met.
This is not a standard tour or short-term service trip. It is a fully immersive service-learning experience in which students engage deeply with a partner community through a structured educational framework. The level of immersion, preparation, and reflection sets it apart.
